At any given time there are usually one or two moms around the office who are hoarding away empty baby food jars. I gathered up a good sized collection, cleaned them well, spray painted the lids, and filled them with spices.
The goal of this project was to get the dozens of half empty spice bottles out of the shelf above the stove and put them into a drawer for easier access. The labeled lids are ideal for easily spotting your spice.
Small holes drilled into the top also make for easy spice shakers.
