I'm guilty of working through my lunch break most days of the week. I've considered a new challenge for myself to fulfill my needs of self care at work and for my creative hunger. I will be seeking out the most unique lunch spots in town that are within reason for a quick break. While stitching seems to dominate the noon hour, I'm also looking for spots where I can bring my lunch bag along instead of eating out.
This week I chose to float during lunch at the current art installation near Bartle Hall in KCMO. This field of hammocks is an art installation by Jarret Mellenbruch that begs to be enjoyed.
Needless to say, it was hard to return to work after this one!
